Redbox exceled in communicating with us on all aspects, explaining everything from the estimate and everything that goes into formulating it, discussing design ideas, to almost a daily update from the project manager James on the progression of the project, to discovery of problems during the construction phase and corrective actions taken. “The remodel was part of an extensive remodel involving moving an interior wall 3ft into our family room increasing the size of our master bedroom and master bath. Our review of the master bath is posted. First and foremost communication was most essential in the completion of the project. From start to finish we were kept informed and updated on all aspects which was most reassuring. The next important was the talent and expertise of the design team. Redbox truly has a very talented and knowledgeable team who came together to turn a blank canvas to a beautiful renovation we will enjoy for years. The bedroom space was expanded, new luxury vinyl flooring installed, door ways expanded for handicap accessibility, and the room painted to color coordinate the flooring and accent wall. The family room originally was to big in our opinion and we suggested to take away 3ft to add to the master bedroom and bath. A fireplace was originally installed and then a gas stove. Our intentions were to replace it with a gas insert. The problem wa\ it was centered on the original room. Dean was able to take our input and design a fireplace and built-in audio/visual unit that was framed in by a custom mantle and firebrick tiling. The finished product is AMAZING! Dean also suggested putting custom speakers into the ceiling hiding any wiring. Once again AMAZING!. Luxury vinyl flooring was also installed and extended to the existing sunroom creating that flow from one room to the next. The result is a family room we will thoroughly enjoy for years to come. Dean did something that we didn’t expect which was a walk through after the project was completed to see for himself if there were any problems or shortcomings. He found a couple of very minor ones and scheduled corrective action which was done within a week. This reflects greatly on their professionalism and pride in workmanship. Redbox will be my first call for future projects and renovations.”

“Red Box took my blueprints and ideas and turned them into a functional and beautiful living space. If a problem came up I was informed and we discussed it and got a fix in place. We moved some ductwork that was preventing cabinetry from fitting as nice as the plans showed, involved moving a wall a couple inches … that could have been a major up charge but it along with all the other minor/major things we changed in midstream were handled MORE than fair dollar wise and very professionally and courteous from a personal standpoint. Even when we hit a HUGE snag on the egress window in the basement (City Code … grrr) we got it figured out and taken care of without any trouble. The best thing I can say is that all the naysayers … it’s too expensive, why are you changing your house why not buy new … they all now say that what we did was a bargain and worth the time and money to create MY ideal home. It’s nice to know even a 60 year old house can be turned into a modern and comfortable home that will easily be well enjoyed for another 60 years. If you need a quality job, not a CHEAP job (Red Box isn’t a bargain-basement contractor, for a fair price done by a conscientious contractor who will work with you to make your plans/ideas come alive then call Dean at Red Box.”

Work was completed in time for family get together, even though we added a few extra items to the plan. Price increased due to extras, would caution everyone to keep close track of extras or pay as you go for extras but this was my fault in making changes. The end result was awesome, I have a great kitchen, not only functional but great storage and beautiful. We had a deck added off of the new sliding doors to backyard, customized to fit around hot tub – very nice. The half bath was enlarged and looks great too.

Team was very clean, at end of everyday, tools, equipment were picked up and work area cleaned. We have had them come out for another small job and now that we have their number, all of our work in the future will be done by them. Can’t say enough nice things about this company. ”

We were desperate, getting ready to move out of state for work and needed to list our house. Everyone in our area was booked or wanted many extra dollars to do the work on short notice. At the urging of a friend, I contacted Dean (the owner). He came out the next day, gave us the most reasonable estimate we’d received throughout the process, and promised to start that following Monday (in just TWO days). They arrived on time each day, they cleaned up all the mess, disposed of all waste, were polite and easy to get along with, were considerate of our neighbors and our pets, AND finished one day earlier than promised. The work was top notch, the rooms looked great, and they didn’t overcharge or try to charge us extra at any point. I will forever be greatful to Dean and his employees and would happily recommend them to anyone!”

“Our house had a challenging basement space that we had grand ideas for, but everyone we brought out seemed to propose the same cookie cutter designs. We reached out to Dean, and he was out at the house the next day, not to push a generic design to get the work, but instead to understand our style, our preferences, and to get a feel for the space and the potential. Soon after, Dean came to us with a vision completely outside the box from what anyone else had proposed. An angled barn-board ceiling, a bar with poured cement, reclaimed wood and glass, a hidden nook for the kids, and a gym with a new window in what was going to be unused space with every other proposal. It was the vision and fresh thinking we were looking for. Dean and Bret saw the job through on every detail, kept a clean job-site throughout, and stood behind their work every step of the way.
