Philosophy
Most building problems are handoff problems. A design is drawn by one firm, priced by another, and built by a third, and the original intent erodes at every transfer. The team that shapes the concept is the team that holds the budget and runs the site.
Design-based does not mean decoration. Every decision, from the initial meeting to the final walkthrough, is made in service of a coherent whole.

Design and Planning
Our team develops the design and the build plan together. Drawings, specifications, schedule, and budget advance as one package.
Construction
We build with the same team that designed the home. Site, structure, and finish are managed in-house, and the people answering your questions are the people doing the work.
Delivery and Handover
We close out with a disciplined walkthrough and a clean handover.

Red Box Design Inc. is the only modern design/build company of its kind in the Quad Cities. In addition to onsite work, we have a facility that allows us to both fabricate and experiment with materials in order to provide our clients with unique and individualized products.

This is an integral part of our services. We pursue only design-based work, as we feel this is what separates us from many other companies. Careful consideration of functionality and well thought out design ensures relevance within the space; this allows the customer to enjoy the product long after we have finished.

We will provide access to photos and examples of our work as well as testimonials. If the client requests, they may contact past customers for reference. We want the client to feel comfortable and certain in choosing us for their project.
