Living Space Basement
A second living room below grade, trimmed to match the main floor.
The clients asked for a second living room in the basement, one that matched what they already had on the main floor. Trim was custom made to match the existing millwork upstairs, so the two floors read as one house.
A built-in fireplace with a stone accent wall anchors the room, a built-in bookshelf faces it from the opposite wall, and a murphy bookshelf hides the mechanicals in plain sight.
