The client handed over the reins. Living, dining, and kitchen all share one space here, and it had to work hard for someone who loves to cook.
Two islands answer that. An L-shaped island carries a raised wooden countertop for eating, and a smaller working island gives the cook a full station. Dark cabinetry and stainless steel keep the finishes modern, and a bold orange accent wall completes the room.
