Retro-Modern Bath
The roofline became a sloped tile shower ceiling with a niche to match.
The client wanted retro and modern in one small bathroom, and the roofline was in the way, cutting into the ceiling of the shower. The design uses it instead of fighting it: a sloped tile shower ceiling follows the roof, and the niche is shaped to the same angle.
A round mirror, a pedestal sink, and black fixtures carry the retro half. Turning the constraint into the signature detail was easier because the people who drew the slope were the ones setting the tile.
