Scandinavian Kitchen

Two rooms opened into one Scandinavian kitchen in birch, white quartz, and aqua glass.

Two rooms became one open kitchen here, which gave a dated plan the space it needed to breathe.

The palette stays calm on purpose. Aqua glass pendants hang in a run over the long island, above birch colored cabinetry and white quartz countertops. It is a Scandinavian combination chosen to last rather than to follow a trend. Opening two rooms into one is structural work, and the wall came down on a drawing that already knew what the finished kitchen would look like.
